What's Included
Here's what to expect:
20-Minute Beach Lesson: We’ll start with a safety briefing, covering ocean conditions and the basics of the spot we’ll be surfing. You'll then learn how to pop up on the board, find your balance, and the proper stance for riding waves.
In-Water Surf Session: After the beach lesson, we’ll head into the water. You’ll practice paddling, catching waves, and standing up with the instructor’s help. We'll work on timing and positioning to help you feel comfortable and confident riding your first waves.
By the end of your lesson, you'll have experienced the thrill of surfing and built a solid foundation to continue improving in the future!

What to wear and bring
What to bring: For your lesson, bring a swimsuit, towel, reef-safe sunscreen, and water. Reef shoes are optional but can be helpful, especially for beginners. We provide the surfboard, rash guard, and everything else you’ll need. If you’d like a life jacket, just let us know in advance. We will let you know the meeting location prior to your lesson based on surf conditions. We surf out of either Puaena Point Beach Park or Chuns Reef Beach on the north shore of Oahu.
