Check-In and timing
If you’re arriving with your own transportation, we recommend arriving 15-20 minutes prior to your booked tour time. Parking can be competitive, so this will give you enough time to find a spot. Important: Our boats do not have restrooms, so please make sure to use the facilities at the harbor before we set sail! What to wear and bring
At Lokahi Scuba, we provide all the necessary scuba gear, along with water and snacks to keep you fueled during your adventure. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, here’s what you should bring: Essential Items: Swimsuit – Wear it under your clothes or bring it along to change into before the tour. Towel – For drying off after your dive or for relaxing on the boat. Reef-Safe Sunscreen – Protect your skin and the ocean by choosing eco-friendly sunscreen. Apply before boarding to areas that aren't covered by a wetsuit. Hat and Sunglasses – For sun protection while on the boat. Light Jacket or Cover-Up – The breeze on the water can be cool, especially after diving. Optional but Recommended: Your Own Gear - If you’ve got a personal snorkel or dive gear you prefer, feel free to bring it along! Otherwise, we’ve got top-notch gear ready for you. Waterproof Camera or GoPro – Capture your underwater memories! Motion Sickness Medication – If you’re prone to seasickness, take precautions ahead of time. Reusable Water Bottle – Stay hydrated (we’ll have water on board, but bringing your own bottle is always a plus). Snacks for Special Dietary Needs – While we provide snacks, feel free to bring extras if you have specific preferences. Personal Dive Logbook – If you’re logging dives, bring your logbook to record your underwater adventure. Important Notes Leave Valuables Behind: Avoid bringing expensive jewelry, large amounts of cash, or other items that could be damaged or lost at sea. Bring a Positive Attitude!
