Overview
The King Kamehameha Celebration Floral Parade is one of Hawaiʻi’s most colorful cultural traditions, honoring King Kamehameha I, who unified the Hawaiian Islands. Held each June in Honolulu, the parade features beautifully decorated floats covered in fresh flowers, pāʻū riders on horseback representing the Hawaiian Islands, marching bands, and cultural groups.
The parade begins near ʻIolani Palace and travels through Waikīkī, welcoming residents and visitors alike to celebrate Hawaiian history, culture, and the legacy of King Kamehameha.
