Hawaii began allowing incoming travelers to bypass the state’s mandatory quarantine on October 15, 2020, by producing a negative COVID-19 test result from an approved testing facility.

After you’ve secured your plane ticket and met the requirements for skipping quarantine, you’ll need to navigate the uncertainty over which businesses throughout the islands are open, which are operating with modified hours or availability, and which are still closed.
