Kailua offers plenty of options for a fun day of shopping. Whether you are looking for gifts or picking up gear for the beach, you can find it here. You can find boutiques, surf and beach lifestyle brands, locally-made jewelry, home goods, natural apothecaries, wellness shops and more.
Many of the main shopping streets are within walking distance of one another and just minutes from Kailua Beach Park, so you can easily pair retail time with a beach day. Parking can be tight on weekends, but there are municipal lots and shopping center parking available if you are willing to circle a bit or visit during the week.
There are four main shopping areas:
Kailua Road, including Kailua Shopping Center and Kailua Town Center
Hekili Street, between Hāmākua Drive and Hahani Street
Kihapai Street, between Kainehe Street and Oneawa Street
Uluniu Street, between Oneawa Street and Maluniu Avenue
