34th Annual Celebration of the Arts

The 34th Annual Celebration of the Arts returns to The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua for two days of Hawaiian culture, history, music and hands-on experiences.
This year’s event commemorates the 50th anniversary of Hōkūleʻa, sharing stories from original crew members and firsthand accounts of the historic 1976 voyage from Honolua Bay to Tahiti.
The weekend features cultural practitioners, hula performances, live music, traditional ceremonies, hands-on demonstrations, a local artisan marketplace and the Richard Hoʻopiʻi Leo Kiʻekiʻe Falsetto Contest.
Guided by the 2026 theme, Lohe mai i ke aʻo, or “Heed the Teachings,” Celebration of the Arts offers an opportunity to experience and learn about the stories, values and traditions that continue to shape Hawaiʻi today.
