Overview

Aloha Festivals is the largest Hawaiian cultural celebration in the United States, honoring Hawaiʻi’s music, dance, history, and traditions through a series of community events across Waikīkī. The month-long celebration features cultural performances, live entertainment, parades, local food, and opportunities to experience Native Hawaiian culture and island traditions.

• September 5, 2026 — Opening Ceremony
  Time: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  Location: The Royal Hawaiian, A Luxury Collection Resort and Royal Hawaiian Center

• September 19, 2026 — 72nd Annual Waikīkī Hoʻolauleʻa
  Time: 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM
  Location: Kalākaua Avenue
  A lively block party featuring local food vendors, live music, cultural entertainment, and community celebrations in the heart of Waikīkī.

• September 26, 2026 — 78th Annual Floral Parade
  Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  Route: Begins at Ala Moana Regional Park, travels through Kalākaua Avenue, and ends at Kapiʻolani Park
  The parade features horseback riders, marching bands, cultural performances, and floral-covered floats celebrating Hawaiian culture and aloha spirit.
