The JAL Honolulu Marathon returns on December 13, 2026, bringing runners from around the world to Oʻahu for a 26.2-mile course through Honolulu. The race begins at 5 a.m. on Ala Moana Boulevard and travels through Downtown Honolulu and Waikīkī, around Diamond Head, through Kahala and Hawaiʻi Kai, before finishing at Kapiʻolani Park.
The marathon has no qualifying time or time limit, welcoming runners and walkers of varying experience levels. Honolulu Marathon Weekend also includes the Kalākaua Merrie Mile at 7 a.m. on December 12 and the Start to Park 10K at 5 a.m. on December 13.
