Overview:
Set against the dramatic coastline and ocean views of Kahuwai Bay, Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort presents Pizzaiolo by the Sea, a limited culinary series celebrating world-class pizza and California-Italian cuisine. Hosted near Moana Bar’s wood-fired oven, the series welcomes acclaimed chefs and celebrated restaurants for special dining experiences featuring handcrafted pizzas, seasonal ingredients, and relaxed oceanfront dining.

September 18–19, 2026 — Flour + Water Weekend
Chefs Thomas McNaughton and Ryan Pollnow of San Francisco’s Flour + Water host a California-Italian weekend featuring signature pastas and wood-fired pizzas enhanced with local ingredients and herbs sourced onsite.

October 9–10, 2026 — Pizzana Pop-Up
Daniele Uditi of Los Angeles’ Pizzana brings his celebrated neo-Neapolitan pizzas to Kona Village for a special weekend dining experience. Recognized with a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand, Pizzana offers polished yet approachable Italian dining for all ages.
