Special Olympics Hawaiʻi 17th Annual Over the Edge

Special Olympics Hawaiʻi’s 17th Annual Over the Edge fundraiser returns to Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa on October 17. Participants will rappel more than 400 feet — 40 stories — down the side of the hotel while taking in views of Waikīkī and Diamond Head, all while raising funds for Special Olympics Hawaiʻi athletes and programs.
Participants can register individually or create a team with friends, family or coworkers. Each participant commits to raising at least $1,000 and will receive a commemorative 17th anniversary Over the Edge T-shirt, with additional prizes available for those who exceed the fundraising minimum.
Participants must weigh between 100 and 300 pounds. Those under 18 must have a parent or guardian attend the event and sign a consent waiver.
Funds raised through Over the Edge stay in Hawaiʻi and support Special Olympics Hawaiʻi athletes and programs across the state.
